Club Moto Motocross Track
Spend a day with us at Club Moto Motocross Track. See how we pack up our toy hauler with dirtbikes
Club Moto is a dirt bike track we try to visit at least once a month. In this blog, you’ll see a glimpse into our quick day trips to Club Moto-Livermore, CA, and how we set up our trailer for moto.
Dennis & Brenna B
After a ton of research, we found Beast Racks. Beast Racks is a customized dirt bike rack that will attach to the anchors we have built into the trailer. From there, we slide the front tire of the dirt bike into the rack securely and tie it down.
Brenna B gearing up for her first moto
This makes me love the patio so much more. The bikes get rolled down the patio then as they both get ready out there as they get to peek at the track before that first warm up lap.
The custom toolbox compartment is super cute and, of course, functional! I love the pop of red when it’s open. Dennis is always equipped with tools. If you are ever at a track and see us, please stop by if you need anything. One thing I personally learned and loved about the Moto tracks is that everyone helps one another; everyone is like family. From tools to advice, we love to support and help in any way we can.
Thanks for stopping by. If you go riding, please leave us a comment telling us where you go.
Camping in Big Sur, CA
Cool places to go, stay, eat!
Each year for our wedding anniversary, we take off for a getaway just me and him…. him and me! This year, we are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary, so we decided to bring it back to where it all started, just with the RV this time. We had our very first overnight date back in 2007 at Lucia Lodge in Lucia, CA. Back then, we stayed at the lodge. We continued staying there for a few years, then, in 2009, Dennis proposed to me at the back of the lodges, up the hill, overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. We spent the first few anniversaries there, then we decided to change it up. We would then typically pack up, jump in the car, and go. We would only decide north or south at home, then we end up where we end up. Pismo Beach, Santa Barbara, one year, we rented a lake house at Lake Nacimiento, a little cottage up North in Bogaga Bay, and we camped at Limekiln in Big Sur when it was open for camping. We have been going to South Lake Tahoe a few times, and we love staying at Basecamp. Oh, the memories! Each year, we would also look up the traditional or modern gift and try to find something to bring home on the trip.
This year, we booked an RV space at Riverside Campground in Big Sur. Sunday- Tuesday. Check-in time is noon!

From our house, we are lucky to have only a 40 min drive to Riverside Campgrounds. Once we got there, it didn’t take long to set up. We were lucky enough to get schooled by our parents, who all have RVs. As newbies, we had to start fresh because we only had wheel chalks. We have to get everything, like regulators and protectors, and down to ALL the different hoses you need to get, because God forbid you mix your fresh water with your black!! I never realized all the extra exterior stuff. If your site doesn't have this tip, or only has a certain plug-in. So, according to my Dad & Sandy, it's better to be safe than sorry and to get it all.
Each site comes with water hookups; don’t forget the water pressure regulator to protect your plumbing and appliances by reducing the water pressure and surge protectors, in case the power goes out at the campsite, your RV won’t blow up, something like that. (Thanks to our Dads) Also, a water filter was a must. We prefer to have a water filter for showering, brushing our teeth, and washing dishes. On Amazon, we subscribe and save, so we never run out. The stabilizers so you don’t get seasick inside, with your trailer rocking everywhere.
As we were setting up, we realized we also needed leveling blocks, so we researched and ordered them from Amazon. I can’t wait to try them ourselves, and I’ll definitely update you after our next trip. What we liked is that they are sturdy & durable. Made of high-impact polymer plastic (weather-resistant, no cracking in extreme temperatures), each block can bear up to 35,000 lbs and is safe for all RV sizes (travel trailers, fifth wheels)
You can level your trailer in under 5 minutes with adjustable increments between 1/2" and 4"; lightweight for easy carrying in RV storage compartments. Works with all tire sizes (from 14-inch to 22-inch RV tires) and can be used on grass, dirt, gravel, or pavement—perfect for campgrounds, boondocking, or even driveway parking.

Riverside Campground river
Dennis and I- Lucia Lodge-celebrating 17 years!
So, of course, we wanted to walk the new campsite and get familiar with where we would be staying for the next few days. It’s a very small campground; they have 7-8 RV sites right on the river. They also have a few sites for tents and cabins as well.
Connected to our campground is Riverside’s sister property, Big Sur Campground and Cabins. Driving south, once you hit Rivers Inn, Big Sur Campgrounds is right after, then Riverside Campgrounds. In my opinion, I like Riverside; there were fewer people, we were really close to the water, and it had more daylight, although Big Sur campgrounds is bigger, so there were more things to do, like a full playground for kids. We did swing on the swings, so fun! they had a laundromat as well as a store that has cute merch & cute postcards. If you bring your coffee mug up front, you can get coffee, Hot Coco, or tea complimentary .
This was a cute different type of cabin they had at Big Sur Campgrounds The roof is clear, it has a nice size porch and faces the river and a huge grassy area.
After our walk, Dennis unhooked the trailer, and just 5 minutes north of Riverside campgrounds is Rivers Inn, an inn to stay & an amazing restaurant. Rivers Inn is known for the Adirondack chairs in the water. Next to it is the Rivers Inn General Store. They have a burrito bar in the back, you fill out your own card of what you want by checking the boxes, and a few minutes later, our name was called, so we took a few tacos to go. They have a nice wine and beer section, anything you might have missed in the general grocery section, and, of course, a huge merchandise section where I got a mug, a sweater, and a fridge magnet.
This is what Dennis calls shit and crap! But I love my shit and crap. I got these cute enamel pins at Big Sur Deli-
Monday morning, after our morning coffee, we headed south to Lucia Lodge. On the way, just 10 mins south, we stopped at Big Sur Deli for a breakfast burrito. I found some enamel pins and a few stickers! From there, Lucia is about an hour drive on the beautiful Hwy 1. Behind Lucia Lodge is a trail to a view we used to sit at for hours. Almost every time we are in Big Sur, we try to hike the mountain. This time, it looked different, a bit overgrown. Some new wood rails, but other than that, the view was still the same! Spectator! The first thing I did was run over to the rail at the furthest point of the cliff, where Dennis carved our initials. Then each time we went out, he would add the date, no date this time, but he did fluff it up. The beginning of March is the very last week of the whales' migration. This time, we saw a ton of whale spouts. So crazy how from up top, something like a whale that is HUGE, the spout is so small.
After that beautiful view, we headed further south, not far, and checked out Kirk Creek campgrounds, which are very beautiful. You are oceanside, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and I feel I want to stay there once. It seems packed, very busy for a non-holiday weekday.
We then headed back to our home away from home. When we got back to the RV, Dennis took our chairs and put them in the river. He came in, made us nice, warm coffee, then we went out on the river to enjoy our coffee, the conversation, and, of course, the view. The water was cold but refreshing. I had my toes in while Dennis walked around. The water was flowing fast, but just up to his knees
Later, for dinner, we went to the Big Sur Taphouse. They have amazing local beers on tap as well as ciders. You can eat inside or head out back, up the stairs. There's a beautiful patio with outdoor seating, as well as a covered area with a TV. In the summers, there used to be live one-man bands that came out. I’m sure they still do. Kids and dogs are all welcome.
our view from the patio. I wish you can hear it
I have to say we will be back! I want to do that trip all over again. Thank for stopping my my Big Sur guide. I hope this blog helps your next trip to Big Sur. Are you planning your next trip now? Tell me in the comments when and where you are planning on going or if you have any spots you’d like to share with us!

Introducing our new RV/trailer.
join us as we decorate and organize our new RV travel trailer
We recently bought a new toy trailer!! As a family, we ride dirt bikes, minus me, the mama! I support! Well, and I make the lunches, pack the bags, wash the gear, and make their time in the dirt the most fun. We started with just a truck. I would set up the picnic table and make the best of it. We then upgraded to an enclosed trailer. We were under cover, more private, but it was just for the dirtbikes and tools. After years, we customized our own toy hauler/RV to suit our family best. We are so excited to share this new journey with you guys.
As I am decorating and organizing our new RV/trailer, I will share my Amazon affiliate links with you. I do receive a small percentage from the links. I appreciate your support
After we paid a deposit, we customized our floor plan with a designer at Dune Sport. It took about 6 months to complete.
We drove all the way to Mesa, AZ, to pick up our new trailer. We waited 6 long months after we ordered it. After a ton of research, talking to my Dad, and watching YouTube. We knew what we wanted and, most importantly, what we didn’t. Everything from Fantastic fans to the bathroom size. We don’t have much space, so we maximized every inch the best we could.
Starting on the inside, we chose the bigger shower with taller headroom. With that, we took out the bathroom sink and replaced it with a foldable table above a medicine cabinet/mirror. We can store a ton in the shower, too, when we are in motion. In the kitchen, I went with a conventional microwave oven, a full stainless-steel sink with a cover, no oven, and a 3-burner gas stovetop. Across the kitchen is my coffeebar. I would have had 2 lower cabinets under in addition to the upper cabinets, but on the opposite side of the wall, we customized a toolbox storage area for Dennis, took a toolbox for easy access when he’s working on the bikes. The 2 sofa’s turn into beds. We also have a full queen-size bed that drops from the ceiling. With Dennis being 6.1”, we made sure this entire build was tall enough for him to stand and not crouch down, because who wants to do that?
We are so happy we upgraded the patio with patio gates and added 3-season doors. The perfect addition to this small trailer, we just gained 8’. We decided on an awning over the patio and on the side of the trailer, where Dennis can work on the bikes. With that in mind, we customised a built-in toolbox. We chose to flip the axles, putting them on top of the leaf springs. With that, it increased ground clearance and gave us more floor space; we won’t have the wheel wells inside. We went with the smooth fiberglass finish, outdoor shower, and 2 automatic awnings.
We chose to have solar panels, so when we dry camp, we will be set! We will only need the generator if we use the microwave or need to plug anything in. We also have propane, and we are fully set up to glamp, plug in, and have water & power, all that fancy stuff. We mainly equip ourselves for dry camping because most dirt bike tracks don’t have full hookup options.
Our kitchen is nice and fresh right out of the factory, waiting for all my cute decor. I ordered from Amazon on the way home, and by the time we got there, most of what I wanted was there. I know each time we take a trip, I will see what more I want/need. Keeping in mind the weight and whether it’s easily breakable from movement.
Three season doors from the inside, they are tinted black so you can’t see in during the day.
Dennis showing us how big this trailer is, He is 6’1” and 6’3” with his moto boots on so we made sure it fit him!
Customized tool box to work on the bikes with ease.
I knew when we were designing the RV I wanted to make this an extension of my home so of course I choose pink! It makes me happy, gold too!
The pink Bella toaster is slim so it fits anywhere. I used these 2 gold towel bars because they are adhesive! No holes, my new favorite way to decorate. I wanted two bars to save space at all cost on my countertops. These are super lightweight,
I have the gold frame just leaning right there, but I have a 3m product on order that will soon become my new best friend. Since the frame is just plexiglass it’s light weight enough to hold with Velcro
Wooden boards are a must for a pinch of warmth.
Each time I go out I’m sure it will change, I’ll keep you updated.
Before we went out on our first trip, we made sure we had all the right equipment. You’ll need it all, trust me! Click any picture or the Amazon Storefront button to visit my Amazon storefront to get all the hoses, stabilizers, and more you need.
I’m so excited to share my design journey with you as I design and organize our new toy hauler trailer/RV with all of you. The more we use our RV, the more I realize how much more I’ll need! In the meantime, feel free to visit our Amazon Storefront to see what I purchased.
Thank you for stopping by. Please leave us a comment if you even got this far. Is there even a comment section? I’m not sure, I'm in charge here, and well, I guess your comment will let me know.
