Introducing our new RV/trailer.

join us as we decorate and organize our new RV travel trailer

We recently bought a new toy trailer!! As a family, we ride dirt bikes, minus me, the mama! I support! Well, and I make the lunches, pack the bags, wash the gear, and make their time in the dirt the most fun. We started with just a truck. I would set up the picnic table and make the best of it. We then upgraded to an enclosed trailer. We were under cover, more private, but it was just for the dirtbikes and tools. After years, we customized our own toy hauler/RV to suit our family best. We are so excited to share this new journey with you guys.

As I am decorating and organizing our new RV/trailer, I will share my Amazon affiliate links with you. I do receive a small percentage from the links. I appreciate your support

After we paid a deposit, we customized our floor plan with a designer at Dune Sport. It took about 6 months to complete.

We drove all the way to Mesa, AZ, to pick up our new trailer. We waited 6 long months after we ordered it. After a ton of research, talking to my Dad, and watching YouTube. We knew what we wanted and, most importantly, what we didn’t. Everything from Fantastic fans to the bathroom size. We don’t have much space, so we maximized every inch the best we could.

Starting on the inside, we chose the bigger shower with taller headroom. With that, we took out the bathroom sink and replaced it with a foldable table above a medicine cabinet/mirror. We can store a ton in the shower, too, when we are in motion. In the kitchen, I went with a conventional microwave oven, a full stainless-steel sink with a cover, no oven, and a 3-burner gas stovetop. Across the kitchen is my coffeebar. I would have had 2 lower cabinets under in addition to the upper cabinets, but on the opposite side of the wall, we customized a toolbox storage area for Dennis, took a toolbox for easy access when he’s working on the bikes. The 2 sofa’s turn into beds. We also have a full queen-size bed that drops from the ceiling. With Dennis being 6.1”, we made sure this entire build was tall enough for him to stand and not crouch down, because who wants to do that?

We are so happy we upgraded the patio with patio gates and added 3-season doors. The perfect addition to this small trailer, we just gained 8’. We decided on an awning over the patio and on the side of the trailer, where Dennis can work on the bikes. With that in mind, we customised a built-in toolbox. We chose to flip the axles, putting them on top of the leaf springs. With that, it increased ground clearance and gave us more floor space; we won’t have the wheel wells inside. We went with the smooth fiberglass finish, outdoor shower, and 2 automatic awnings.

We chose to have solar panels, so when we dry camp, we will be set! We will only need the generator if we use the microwave or need to plug anything in. We also have propane, and we are fully set up to glamp, plug in, and have water & power, all that fancy stuff. We mainly equip ourselves for dry camping because most dirt bike tracks don’t have full hookup options.

Our kitchen is nice and fresh right out of the factory, waiting for all my cute decor. I ordered from Amazon on the way home, and by the time we got there, most of what I wanted was there. I know each time we take a trip, I will see what more I want/need. Keeping in mind the weight and whether it’s easily breakable from movement.

Three season doors from the inside, they are tinted black so you can’t see in during the day.

I knew when we were designing the RV I wanted to make this an extension of my home so of course I choose pink! It makes me happy, gold too!

The pink Bella toaster is slim so it fits anywhere. I used these 2 gold towel bars because they are adhesive! No holes, my new favorite way to decorate. I wanted two bars to save space at all cost on my countertops. These are super lightweight,

I have the gold frame just leaning right there, but I have a 3m product on order that will soon become my new best friend. Since the frame is just plexiglass it’s light weight enough to hold with Velcro

Wooden boards are a must for a pinch of warmth.

Each time I go out I’m sure it will change, I’ll keep you updated.

Before we went out on our first trip, we made sure we had all the right equipment. You’ll need it all, trust me! Click any picture or the Amazon Storefront button to visit my Amazon storefront to get all the hoses, stabilizers, and more you need.
